Chaplin for the Alliance

Garrid Virtguo is a field Chaplin for the Rebel Alliance. He provides sermons when the unit is not in combat and also gives soldiers guidance and support if needed. He is trained as a soldier and may have to fight if the opportunity arises. His traditional priest attire cannot be worn on the battle field, but he is still distinguished because he wears the Ceremonial Holy Blade at his hip at all times.

The Preacher of the Bodecre

Alidio Gottum is a typical priest. He is almost middle age but enjoys what he does. He is a priest that serves the Church of Kuat City after a brief stint as Chaplin of the Kuat Drive Yards. His sermons are well appreciated by his devout followers and he has his sights on Bishop of Kuat, or any other planet.

Ceremonial Holy Blade

The ceremonial holy blade is not actually intended for use as a weapon. It is mostly for appearance and ritual. Some priests forced to serve on crime infested worlds, use the blade as self-defense, but the small dagger is not well suited for combat. It has been blessed and is considered holy. The handle of the dagger is of many unique designs. It often incorporates precious stones and valuable metals. The blade itself has extra luster due to the ritualistic cleaning of the blade. Every ordained priest is given a Ceremonial Holy Blade at that time and it is usually worn in a sheath that showcases the decorative hilt.

The Galactic Church of the Creator

The Galactic Church of the Creator is the most dominant religion in the galaxy except for atheism. It was originally called the Church of Coruscant, but after Hyperspace travel allowed for the colonization of other worlds, the church changed its name to the Galactic Church of the Creator to be more accepting to its followers.

The church follows the basic idea that a “Creator” intelligently created the universe in its entirety. The Bodecre is the book of liturgy used in sermons. It carries the story of the creation of the universe and life. It contains many parables that are used as analogies to life.

The Grand Temple of the Creator on Coruscant that stands today, in the rebellion era, has been rebuilt five times. Each time the Temple has gotten larger and added on a more modern appearance, but it still uses an old design.

The church is led on a galactic scale by an Oberstpaus, a name meaning supreme father in an ancient dialect. The Oberstpaus leads the church and is a recognized throughout the galaxy. Each planet has a bishop who organizes all the parishes on that world. Each church is run and served by a Priest.

This dish is composed of poultry meat and a variety of vegetables. It was a popular dish during the height of the Empire, but cooked by only the most skilled cooks, and making the price much higher than it should be.

Haldin Eldu

Haldin Eldu was personally trained by Darth Vader to assist in the elimination of the Jedi. With most of the Jedi gone, he was placed in command of a Star Destroyer to continue to the search, but most of the time just to be a commander. He is the captain of the Geonosis, one of the Star Destroyers in Aesh Alrey’s group. He has a myriad of force users on his star destroyer that serve as his guards, soldiers, pilots, and assassins. Haldin is an unlikable individual and many people have distaste for him. His physical strength and power in the force intimidate those who work under him and keep them in line. Even though his strength and intimidating nature play a part of holding the crew together, the real job is done by his second-in-command, Salindo Dulid. Dulid is the actual force behind the Geonosis and its oblivious, powerful captain is little more than a figurehead.
