Description

New Huáng Dí is the second planet in the Huáng system. It is mostly frozen, altough at some times of the year, some regions of the planet melt for a brief, mild weathered period. The planet was only aquired by the Huáng Dí Empire recently.

History

New Huáng Dí was a frozen wasteland for countless years. It was only in recent times that the Huáng Dí Empire reached its space age and colonized the planet. The population is increasing rapidly. Many of the poor on Huáng Dí have been saving to go to New Huáng Dí hoping for a new life. The Huáng Dí Empire sells large parcels of land for very inexpensive prices. Most of the structures on the planet are large manufacturing plants and research facilities. The inhabitants of the planets have built their dwellings in the ground instead of above it. It is believed that this is to help insulate the buildings, but it is unsure. These "groundscrapers" usually don't go past 50m into the ground.

New Sub-Species
The humans of New Huáng Dí are genetically and physically the same as humans throughout the galaxy. However, the humans of New Huáng Dí get certain bonuses due to their upbringing. These bonuses apply only to those born and raised on the planet and not the immigrants that have moved there.
  • +2 Species bonus to survival checks in cold weather environments

This postcard from New Huáng Dí isn't the only one coming from the Huáng Dí system. Keep coming back to Star Wars Roleplaying Resources to see more of this system, and the powerful Huáng Dí Empire!

Search for a Base

Search for a Base

The group returned to Yavin IV after Heriston. Antonio rejoined the group. Totaw Hobat gives the group their next mission, “I wish I could let you stay here longer but we desperately need a new location. In another day or two, the Empire will be back with a greater fleet. We need to find a location. We have found four planets for you to investigate. Here are datacards describing some basic information of each. We need you to visit each planet and then make a judgment on which planet we should have our temporary base. Because we don’t know what the situation is on each planet, you must take your X-Wings on this scouting mission.” The group took the datacards and went into another room of the base to look at them.
“Tarkinil have a low technological understanding. This datacard rates them as ‘Agricultural,’” Gotthelm said.
“I want to go to Kyoh!” Fred exclaimed. “It looks cool.”
“Arontut has some crazy atmosphere. We’re going to need breath masks,” Spam said, after looking at the Arontut datacard.
“Okay, throw all the cards in this stormtrooper helmet, we’ll pick one out randomly,” Gotthelm suggested. He threw all the datacards in a helmet and let Fred pick one out.
“Arontut,” he said.
All the members of the group went to the hangar and flew their X-Wings to Arontut, using the coordinates given in the datacard. They were about the open their cockpit hatches when Spam says, “Wait a minute. Wait a minute. This is the one with the funky atmosphere. Don’t forget your breath masks everybody!” Everyone admired the ewok’s advice and put their breath mask on.
Everyone then exited their ships and saw a world covered with holes that seemed to lead to underground caves and tunnels. One particular hole was very close to the group. Antonio Skysprinter decided to check out the hole. He jumped inside. Suddenly a landmine exploded. Antonio jumped out of the hole.
“They must all be booby-trapped,” Gotthelm concluded.
Antonio had a strange flicker of anger in his eye, a flicker that came from something dark. The group left Arontut quickly, and decided to go to Dnalkowe.
When the X-Wings landed on Dnalkowe, all that the group saw was marsh and swamp. Very quickly, a large net was thrown over the heads of Antonio, Tom, Spam, Fred, Ireak and Gotthelm. A primitive human whacked them unconscious and carried them deeper into the swamp.
Three hours later, they woke up to find themselves with hardly any clothes on and a large metal collar around each of their necks. All of their items and gear was taken away.
Two humans were speaking to each other in a strange unknown language. Not even Spam’s translator droid could translate it. The humans then shook hands with each other. One of the humans approached the group and in broken basic, he said, “Arena.” He gave each person in the group a large sword called a Welilissit Blade. “Win and you go.” Then he pointed to a path that lead to a grand swampland arena.
Two large humans, dressed in tribal paints, emerged from the other side of the swamp arena. They held Welilissit Blades as well.
Gotthelm decided to make an illusion disguising everyone in the group as shadows against the side arena wall. Antonio Skysprinter; however, was just outside of Gotthelm’s range. He was still visible.
Antonio had been learning to embrace the dark side of the force that Gotthelm had warned him about. Antonio had a revelation the previous day. If the light side of the force is better, than why is there no light side users running the galaxy? Antonio decided to unleash his anger to increase his power. He was tired of keeping secrets. He was ashamed of some of the things he had done. Gotthelm and Tom were going to be perfect Jedi; never blemished by this addictive dark side Antonio thought he could see the future. He thought he could see his friends turning on him in a swamp arena. When he found himself in a swamp arena, he knew that what he saw was true. He thought that still being visible instead of in the illusion was Gotthelm’s fault. He unleashed all of his anger, letting the dark side run through his veins. He outstretched his arms and let the dark side energy flow outwards towards everyone in the arena. He called it Force Lightning. “You think that you are better than me. You think that I’m the bad one here! You will learn. You will pay!”
The lightning struck everyone. One of the tribal warriors fell and fried in the electricity. The other crumbled on the ground, but still showed signs of life. All of the hairs of Spam’s body stood on end. Fred yelped in pain as he got shocked. Gotthelm went down on both knees as the electricity flowed through his body. Ireak fell to the ground as electricity flowed through his body. When the electricity hit Tom, Antonio’s brother, his skin boiled and blistered.
Antonio stood drained in the center of the arena. He felt drained of energy, and invigorated with the force at the same time. The lone tribal gladiator staggered to Antonio and swung his weapon at Antonio. Antonio jumped to the side using Force instincts.
Tom looked at his brother. Tom had also had a brush with the dark side, at one point during his short Jedi career. He knew that Antonio needed to be stopped before something even worse happened. He mustered all the energy he had into some Force Lightning of his own. This lightning was directed at only Antonio. Antonio’s body shriveled and blistered, as he screamed asking for redemption. Gotthelm charged the remaining gladiator and ended his life, then joined the circle surrounding Antonio. After half a minute, Antonio breathed his last breath.
Spam walked up to Antonio and took some of his teeth and Gotthelm took his Lightsaber. Tom dragged his brother’s body out of the arena. The town they were in was called Buxton. A tribal person approached Tom with a torch. Tom took the torch and lit Antonio’s body on fire.
An unknown voice, of an unknown origin said, “It is a sad day that Antonio Skysprinter, an aspiring Jedi, fell to the dark side and attacked his friends and perished. We pray to the spirits for him. Antonio Skysprinter, rest in peace."
After a quick, but solemn funeral, the group reclaimed their belongings and left the planet in their X-wings. They orbited the planet for half a day, resting in the cramped quarters of their X-wing, as they discussed which planet they wanted to go to next.
“Kyoh and Tarkinil are the last two planets,” Gotthelm said.
“I think we should go to Tarkinil,” Spam suggested. The group agreed with Spam’s decision.
The X-Wings disappeared into hyperspace and landed on Tarkinil without incident.
“This place is all open plains,” Tom said.
“If the Empire happened to come, there would be no cover at all,” Gotthelm decided.
“Let’s go outside and have a look,” Ireak said.
As Spam prepared to go outside, he saw a large cloud heading towards them. “Duststorm!” he shouted, “Back to the ships!” The group fastened their seat belts and left the planet, and headed towards the next planet of Kyoh.
The group arrived on planet and looked around. “There are lots of caves and places to hide in,” Fred said, pointing to the caves in the mountains.
A loud caw came from inside the cave. Three large Kyohinials came out of the cave and swooped down onto the group. Fred quickly swung out his light repeating blaster rifle and put three well place blaster bolts into one of the birds. The bird seemed to be hurting, but it showed no signs of giving up. Spam’s mini bowcaster made its shot go wide of the intended bird, but it hit another. “I meant to do that,” he shouted to the others. Ireak got frightened by the large birds and attempted to swim in the dirt to hide. Even in the midst of battle, everyone glanced at him to see what he was doing.
“What, you’ve never seen a bothan swim in dirt in the middle of a fight before?” Ireak asked, not expecting an answer.
Gotthelm’s T-415 nailed the third bird in the tail feathers. It lost some of its altitude but it seemed fine. Tom’s T-415 hit another bird with a similar effect. The Kyohinials then dived down on the group. Ireak was so afraid he stopped swimming and began to cower.
Upon seeing this cowardice, Spam shouted, “Hey look, the dog is a scaredy cat!” The laughs that came afterwards, quickly ended when the Kyohinials descended. The birds swooped on Ireak. One of the bird’s claws seemed to strike Ireak at just the right angle. Ireak’s arm began to bleed heavily.
Fred Dread took aim at one of the large avian predators. Two blaster bolts hit the Kyohinial and it fell to the ground, dead. Spam’s mini bowcaster sent another bird to the ground, but after impact, it flapped its wings and hovered once again. It was bleeding all over its body.
Tom picked up a stone and tossed it at the birds. “I figured I’d try to kill two birds with one stone.” As Tom was being a clown, Gotthelm shot one of the birds to death. Ireak triumphed over his fear, and stopped cowering. However with another glance at the ferocious bird, he tried to hide behind the rock. The bird was not fooled. The bird decided to try some new prey and dove toward Fred. He jumped out of the way at the last second, and watched the bird’s feathers fly by his face. Fred retaliated by sinking a few blaster bolts directly into the bird. The bird staggered and fell once a bolt from Spam’s mini bowcaster. Spam went to it to add part of its body to his collection.
The group quickly explores the area but realizes that time is of the essence and quickly reports back to Yavin IV before the Empire arrives. Totaw Hobat asks them, “So have you made a decision?”
Ireak said “I really liked Dnalkowe, except for the fact we were captured. I think we could make a base there.”
Fred began chanting, “Kyoh, Kyoh, Kyoh...”
Tom said, “I want to stay with Kyoh as well.”
Gotthelm and Spam agreed. “So it is,” Totaw said.
“We shall build a small, at least temporary base on Kyoh. It will take a week for the base to be completed enough for us to move there. Tom, why don’t you go to your home planet and mourn the loss of your brother with your family? Fred, you don’t look so good. I believe you may have gotten the Courscanti Influenza, you should rest here as the doctors take a look at you. As for the rest of you, there are a few problems on Kyoh you should check out before we start building there.”

This adventure was played in November of 2005. See the Campaign History for more details.

RIP
Antonio Skysprinter the Human
Antonio was born with the gift of the Force, and had followed the side of the light for most of his life. However, his majestic power crumbled in the Dnalkowe Arena. It is there that he succumed to the dark side and attacked his brother and friend.
May he rest in peace, and become one with the force.
Antonio Skysprinter, Human Jedi Guardian (Antonio)

Description

Marpol is the first planet in the Huáng Dí system. The planet is mostly an ocean, dotted with thousands of mountainous islands. From space, it seems to be a large blue marble. The planet has never been touched by any other civilization. Living in isolation, for its entire planetary life.

History

Marpol is the only planet in the Huáng Dí system, not to be influenced by the Huáng Dí Empire. The planet once thrived, and the population continued to grow. Eventually the population was so crowded, and the farms could only produce so much. Suddenly, like a flash of lightning, a mysterious plague struck the planet. It originated on a small island with only a few hundred inhabitants. Those few inhabitants quickly spread the disease as they traveled to the neighboring islands to trade. Almost four out of every five people on the planet died from the plague. After the plague, a new religion rose from the remnants of the population. They began to worship a multitude of gods, polytheism. The planet is now struggling to be the community it once was.

The islands of the planet are knit in a global community. The planet has never had a central government, although each island has its own local one. The planet is technologically advanced. They haven't reached a space age yet, however primitive space flights could occur in the next twenty years. Their technology is not even close to par with the rest of the galaxy. The personal computers have some of the processing capability of the bottom of the line datapads.

New Sub-species
The humans of Marpol are genetically and physically the same as humans throughout the galaxy. However, the humans of Marpol get certain bonuses due to their upbringing
  • Consitution +2: Marpol humans who have survived the great plague, have stronger immune systems, and are usually tougher than other humans.
  • +2 Species Bonus to Swim, and Pilot when piloting oceanic vessels.

Protection from the Welilissit

The gladiators of the Allogoan Council Arena on Dnalkowe, have made a recent advancement in their fighting techniques. At one time, it was considered cowardly to wear armor in the arena. Some warriors have worn custom armor, over the years, but it has never been mass produced, until now. The growing trend in the arena focuses more on the glory of winning and less on how the match is won. This means more and more warriors are making the switch to this armor.

Fuel at Heriston

Fuel at Heriston

The group is on Yavin IV. The Death Star has recently been destroyed and the Rebels are looking for a new planet. However, the Rebellion knows that the Imperials will not return right away. Totaw Hobat, an Ithorian General approaches the heroes. “The Imperials have recently completed construction of a refueling and repair station at Heriston. This station has reduced the downtime for a large portion of the Imperial fleet significantly. Every ship they keep in service increases their chance of finding our location. We need to put that station out of commission. It is heavily protected by defense platforms, starfighter wings, and system patrol craft. We don’t have the resources to launch the major attack that would be needed. Instead, we would like to send a small strike team onboard, to destroy the station from its power core. We have put some falsified transponder codes on your ship, The Corvette. Also onboard your ship is some very powerful demolition devices and a datacard showing the schematics of the station. I wish you luck, and be quick, we still need to relocate."
They quickly went to their ship and punched in the hyperspace coordinates. Before they knew it, they were docked on the station. Many Imperial ships were docked in the docking area. Thankfully, with the transponder code, the Corvette appeared to be one of them.

They passed through the door nearest to them. It lead to a room with many other doors. Using the schematics on their datapad, they decide to head towards the turbolift. When they pass through the door leading to the turbolift, they find five stormtroopers looking at them. Gotthelm took out his T-416 and fired at a stormtrooper. The shot nailed the stormtrooper and he fell to the ground, clutching at a hole in his armor. Tom also took out his T-416 and aimed at another stormtrooper. After a second, he fired and the stormtrooper fell, a testament to Tom’s accuracy. Spam, the ewok, took aim with his mini-bowcaster. The shot hit a stormtrooper. The stormtrooper yelled in pain, but stood. Ireak Tal’ra took aim with his two blaster pistols. Both shots nailed the hurting stormtrooper, and the stormtrooper fell to the ground. Fred Dread took aim with his weapon as well. The shot hit another stormtrooper in the chest, causing the stormtrooper to fly backwards and hit a wall. The only remaining stormtrooper took a wild shot towards the group. The shot wildly missed. Spam quickly fired again, but his shot went wide. A blaster bolt from both of Ireak’s blasters hit the stormtrooper, sending him tumbling. The stormtrooper still had life in him, as he fired his blaster rifle at the group, once again missing. Fred fires a single bolt into the stormtroopers helmet, knocking it off of the stormtroopers head, revealing the dead stormtrooper underneath.

As the last stormtrooper fell, the group jumped in and took the stormtrooper’s armor and blaster rifles. They then put the armor on, with the goal of a stormtrooper disguise. However, after discovering that Gotthelm’s head didn’t fit into the helmet very well, they dumped the disguise idea. Spam didn’t bother putting the armor on; he knew that a creature of his size would never pass as a stormtrooper, regardless of how much armor he wore. The group walked into turbolift. The lift went up, and the group exited to the second floor.

The turbolift opened to reveal a dark hallway. Some of the lights in the ceiling flickered on and off. The lonely hallway got to Tom, and he began to whistle. Fred whacked him on the head. Spam began to speak in Ewokese. Ireak asked his translator droid, “What is he saying?”
The droid said, “It doesn’t quite translate out of his language. He is saying, ‘Put that toothbrush away Cameron. You don’t even know the meaning of hygienic’”
The rest of the group looked puzzled at the droid and then ignored Spam.
The group approached the only door in the hallway. Gotthelm looked about and then asked Fred, “Do you want the honors?” Fred nodded and stepped forward to open the door. When the door opened a loud bell began to ring.
Tom asked, “What is that?”
Ireak glanced at the many tables in the room. Suddenly stormtroopers and TIE fighter pilots rushed into the room. He began to pull his blaster pistols out of their holsters. Fred stopped him. “No,” he said. “Look, they are all sitting down at the table. It must have been a mess call. They aren’t even paying attention to us. ”
The group slowly walked over to a door on the far wall. Gotthelm stepped up the door and tried to disable the lock on the door. After a minute of struggling with the door, Gotthelm gave up. “Get out of here,” Ireak said, pushing Gotthelm out of the way, and taking Gotthelm’s place at the door, and succeeded in opening the door. The door opened to reveal many large tanks of fuel.
Another security door blocked their progress. “Maybe I can redeem myself,” Gotthelm said, stepping to the door, and quickly getting the door open. After opening the door he looked at his datapad. “This is the staircase that we need to take.”

Each member of the group walked up the staircase and arrived at another security door. Ireak disabled the door lock and they stepped through the doorway. The door opening surprised the 3 guards and the stormtrooper in the room. They turned around, startled to see the group in the doorway. Spam snapped his mini-bowcaster into position and shot a bolt at the stormtrooper. The stormtrooper crumpled to the ground. Tom shot a large bolt into the stomach of one of the guards. The guard’s stomach spilled out onto the floor. Gotthelm shot with his T-416. The shot was a direct hit to the head, disfiguring the guard, and killing him instantly. Ireak’s two blaster pistols both hit their mark, making yet another guard fall to the ground. Spam quickly ran to the stormtrooper that he killed. He kicked some of the teeth out of the body and added them to his teeth collection. Tom and Fred ripped a patch off the uniform of a guard.
Gotthelm opened up the door leading to the Fission Power Core. Gotthelm, Ireak, and Spam each set up one of the explosive devices. A few seconds after the bombs were set, a loud alarm began to ring. “Intruder Alert. Intruder Alert. Code Light-Violet. Intruder alert.” A feminine voice stated the problem to the station.
The group quickly ran back down the staircase and into the mess hall. With the alarm sounding, the stormtroopers in the mess hall were alerted to the group. Blaster bolts rained down on the group. Most of the shots missed by a lot, but some of the bolts barely missed, or skimmed the body. No one was actually hit directly. They rushed out of the station as quick as possible. They quickly jumped up on to the ship. “Hurry up Spam, we gotta get out of here,” Tom shouted from the boarding ramp. Spam ran as fast as he could on his little legs. Blaster bolts starting coming from the entrance of the docking bay. He ran onto the Corvette. Tom brought the ship out of the station and into space. They looked back at the station.
“I really hope that those quick-set bombs will destroy the station." Spam said. Suddenly the station violently shook. The station split in two and one piece accelerated towards the planet. The other piece caught on fire.
“Well, It’s safe to say that the station is destroyed,” Ireak said.
“True,” Fred said, “But it would have been nice to destroy that Star Destroyer that was docked with the station.”
“Speaking of the Star Destroyer, we should probably get out of here before it blasts us like the station,” Tom said as he pushed the hyperspace lever forwards.

The Future of the Jedi: Wilron Selus

Wilron Selus was a human born on Sacorria, a planet in the Corellian system. Wilron was tired of the Empire and joined up with the Rebellion as soon as he could. He was very good at setting bombs and making explosives, and he was an integral part to many special operation teams.
He was on Kyoh when the Rebellion relocated there after the Battle of Yavin. Although the Rebellion, and Wilron, were not on Kyoh for long, they were there long enough for Gotthelm to detect a presence. Gotthelm still had much to learn in the ways of the force, but he knew that soon he would be able to take a padawan under his wings. Campaign Summary

If you have been following this blog, you have noticed that I've been placing campaign Updates on the site, slowly leading up to the adventures most recently done. This takes a very long time and there is a quite a few adventures that I don't have notes for.

The following brief summary covers "Meeting an Informant" all the way to "The Battle of Yavin."

Meeting an Informant

After Consulate Tulon escaped, the Besbrilldra cell had to regroup. Tom Skysprinter needed bacta treatments so he returned to Besbrilldra, and Spam had a family tragedy and returned to his homeworld.
Gotthelm, Antonio Skysprinter, and Ireak Tal'ra continued on and went to Fronist in search of an informant who contacted them. The informant had information on Tulon's whereabouts but he also needed to give away a droid head. This droid head was giving him problems with the locals. While inside the cantina, a bar fight started. The group left the cantina unharmed, with all the information they needed.

Memorable Quotes
"So, how 'bout them Celtics?" -Antonio Skysprinter. During the bar fight, Antonio sought to gain the advantage by confusing his opponents.

Sabacc and Panthers

Tom and Spam return and go to Fronist to meet the rest of the group. After they meet up with the rest of the group the Empire closes the spaceport to try to catch a local criminal. The group is looking for some money, so they find a game of sabacc and end up winning a ship. When go to check out the ship, a Corellian Sand Panther attacks them. They realize it is a trap, but the doors are locked. They kill the panther and Spam adds its teeth to his collection. When they finally exit the ship they forget revenge and decide just to leave the planet as fast as possible.

A Steal of a Deal

As the group leaves the ship they had won, they go to find their own ship, the Corvette. As they approach their ship, a Twi'lek offers to buy it for a lot more than it is worth. Although negotiations seemed to be going well, in the end, the Twi'lek pulled a blaster and the group was attacked. They finally go to their ship and find a Quarren on board, trying to hijack the ship. They remove her from the ship and leave the planet behind them.

Demons in the Dark

The group leaves their ship on Trevura and takes public transport to Trevura Minor. They think they will be able to blend in better. The ship is hit by a comet and they are stranded on a long lost planet with dangerous creatures. It takes many weeks to escape the planet, but they manage to repair a ship from an extinct mining colony to escape.

capturing Consulate Tulon

After coming back to civilization they learn from their informant that Consulate Tulon is hiding in a nearby asteroid field. The Consulate had been running a pirate organization from the base and was no using it to hide. They landed on the base and shot his ship into very small fragments.

Detour to Tatooine

After finally resolving the problem in the Trevura system the group returned to Besbrilldra to report back. They found the building they had used destroyed. Using clues found at the scene, they found a datacard telling them to go to Tatooine. They went to Tatooine for a week and were later approached by a comedian, Goreon Huylil. He told them that they would soon be working on a more galactic scale and helped them get into disguises so they could get off planet. They met with an Ithorian named Totaw Hobat, as well as reuniting with Yoko and Renci Tosh.

X-Wing Training

Gotthelm, Tom, Antonio, Ireak, and Spam, were each given an X-Wing and practiced for many hours in the simulator.

The Battle of Yavin

The group battled TIE fighters over the death star and Yavin IV. They met Fred, a ground soldier forced into a cockpit when the death star loomed. Fred's entire squadron was wiped out so he joined in with the rest of the group.

Many of these adventures were all pre-made and came from a time when all of us where still learning the game. I somewhat strung all these premade adventures into a storyline but from this point on, all adventures had a meaning and purpose to them.

The Trevuran Incident

The Trevuran Incident

The heroes of the Besbrilldra Rebel Cell had saved the Stellar Damsel and were now awaiting new orders. "Greetings," Yoko Tosh, their cell leader said. "The cell of Trevura needs your help again. They are teaming up with an underground droid resistance. There are rumors about some large scale attack. You'll also have someone else with you on this mission." Antonio Skysprinter looked at Renci Tosh with hopeful eyes. Yoko saw Antonio staring at his daughter and then continued, "Antonio's brother approached me while you were away last mission. Here is Tom Skysprinter." A large human walked into the room and shook hands with everyone in the room.
"Hey, so let's get going then," the new cell member said. The group walked to their ship the Corvette and got in.
Antonio let the nav computer calculate the coordinates and then he pushed the hyperspace level forward.

After landing, their astromech droid led them to the droid resistance location. An old Trade Federation Droid with crimson shoulder coverings beckoned them to sit down. "Welcome everyone. For those who do not know me, I am Geeardee. We have come across some information that Blask is going to try to do something to the droid factory in Voma. Essar, would you continue?" The old droid said.
A familiar droid stepped forward. "Thank you Geeardee, I am Essar. Myself and Teethreepio ran into these organics during the 'Inhibitor incident.' We happened to get them to help us. Now these organics will try to get the information from Blask's personal computer in the Capital Tower. We can get a remote connection from the tower so you can slice into the network from other rooms, but for speeds sake, it would be best if you just ran up to one of the terminals, got a slicer to crack in, then have your astromech pull as much as he can hold and we can sort through it later. The Trevura rebel cell is also lending its assistance."

The group left the building and let the droid lead them to Kerisskus, a trandoshan rebel soldier with the Trevuran rebel cell. They also used the Trevuran cell to contact a slicer for them. A person named Gigabyte joined up with them and they entered the Capital Tower. The group hurries across the floor to enter the turbolift. They silently walked across the hall on the second floor to a room marked 'Merno Blask.' They quickly and silently entered and Gigabyte quickly got to work. It took only a minute or so but soon three stormtroopers on guard walked past the office. They noticed something moving inside and entered. Gotthelm, Antonio and Tom all swung their lightsabers and quickly disarmed and dismembered the stormtroopers. They left the building without incident.

After a few hours searching through the files that had been put into the memory banks of the astromech droid, Essar approached them. "It's not good at all. A message from Merno to his army was found. They are planning to attack the factory when the droid's head is in the tower. There was a droid head hanging over the service desk today!"
"We need to act now," Geeardee said. "We'll get you into the factory. Be prepared." Essar ushered the group into the factory.
"I'm going to go and look to see what resources are here in the building," Kerisskus said. In ten minutes he returned with five thermal-activated thermal detonators and an E-Web blaster. Kerisskus set up the E-Web blaster at the end of a hallway guarding the entrance. Spam went with Ireak into the sensor room and watched all of the security camera displays. It wasn't long before the intruders entered the building. Two detonators exploded. Through the smoke Kerisskus shouted, "I can see them!" However the private soldiers didn't see Kerisskus firing at them from down the hall. Instead they saw many battle droids firing blasters at them. Gotthelm was in the corner of the hallway, straining to hold the illusion. Kerisskus continued firing and killed a few more.
The men advanced on the droids. They pulled out their stun batons and swung at the droids. Their hands went right through the droids as they swung. At that moment, they realized that the droids were fake. Gotthelm stopped the illusion of the droids, hid deeper in the shadow, and made an illusion of himself around the corner. Gotthelm watched as the five remaining men walked down the corridor.
Another explosion rocked the droid factory. Ireak picked up his comlink and said, "They are in the final corridor before the main computer!" Tom Skysprinter was hiding in a side room near the main computer for the factory. He couldn't move from the spot to attack otherwise he risked tripping the final detonator. A droideka that Gotthelm had fixed up, walked out of the corridor and began firing at the hired soldiers. Two shots nailed one man and he immediatly fell on to the floor. Another hit a different man. The men began to fire at the droideka. The droideka lured the men close to the final detonator. Then it rolled into a ball and quickly zoomed away. Tom saw this and quickly took cover.
The last line of defense detonated. Tom knew this was his time to shine. He peeked around the corner to see the remaining soldiers. One was rolling on the ground to extinguish the fire, another was searching for his blaster. The rest were dead. Tom ignites his lightsaber and swings it at the man looking for his blaster. The man cried in pain as his arm was severed from his body. The man on fire picked up his blaster and leveled it at Tom. The blaster shot hit tom in his right hand. He dropped his lightsaber. With his left hand he pulled out his heavy blaster pistol and shot the man repeatedly. The man with a missing arm then picked up a blaster and placed it against Tom's head.
The sound of a blaster echoed in the hallway. Tom noticed he was still alive as the man holding the blaster fell. The droideka rolled over to Tom and seemed to give him a wink. The rest of the group hurried to the scene and congratulated Tom. Gotthelm noticed a datacard on the floor. He picked it up and put it in his datapad. "This virus is very important in the elimination of droids and the rebels that use them. I have given Consulate Topi Tulon control of this mission,. but he is ill so you will take over. This virus is created by Tulon and causes droids to cease functioning; some droids also suffer memory losses after. -MB" The group ran to the droid resistance to alert them of the new information.
Geeardee exclaims, "You must go after Consulate Topi Tulon, he may have more copies of the virus!" The group then rushed to the Consulate's office.
The Consulate quickly keyed a sequence in on his computer. "What are you trying to do?" he asked.
Kerisskus walked into the room with some members of the planetary police force. "We have proof that you made a virus that planned to disrupt the droids on the planet. The police is here to put you under arrest."
"Hahahahahaha, you can't get me!" He pulled an ID out from his desk, "I'm a diplomat here from Juklin, I am not only protected by the many stormtroopers behind me, but by something called diplomatic immunity. Now if you excuse me, I'll be going now." Tulon quickly ran out of the building and to a private diplomatic vessel and left the planet.

The Trevuran Incident was meant to tie up some strings and is the fourth adventure in our campaign. It was played in June of 2004. To see the other adventures, please go to the Campaign History section of the site.

Happy New Year!

It is 2006 now across the globe!
We have had many visitors to the site and even though I slacked this past week, Star Wars Roleplaying Resources is still the most updated Star Wars roleplaying site on the internet!

With that said, I would like to restate somethings said in the first few posts, that newer visitors may not have read.

I strongly urge everyone to submit to this site. Submissions are posted on Submission Saturday.
Also, it is a lot of work to run this site and try to get an article up every weekday. I really need team members. Blogger has a way where multiple people can post articles on the same blog. If you are interested in becoming a team member, please email me. If you want to be a team member it would be great if you could contribute an article once a week (on the same day preferably.) If you are a GM, you probably made enough different things that you could have weekly articles for a long time.

So Happy New Year!
